Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) 1 day Renewal course.

Currrent TNCC Provider Certification Required

  • The Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) 1-day Renewal course is for students who have a current TNCC Provider certification as of the date of the class and are renewing. You will be required to supply a copy of your current TNCC certification either by bringing it to the class or you can email it to info@edcor.net prior to the class.
  • Students that do not have a current TNCC Provider certification as of the date of the class should register for the TNCC Provider (2-Day) class.

Every second counts when stabilizing life threatening trauma cases. This course, taught by qualified nurses, prepares you with the knowledge, critical thinking skills and training needed to provide high-quality trauma nursing care. After completing this course, you will be able to properly assess patients and implement evidence-based interventions to improve outcomes for them.

The course is available to
  • Only registered nurses are eligible for provider status
  • Licensed practical nurses and paramedics are eligible to attend all portions of the course and obtain CNE hours, but are not eligible for provider verification
  • The TNCC course is for registered nurses (or the equivalent as defined by the student’s country of practice). Non registered nursing students may attend and participate in the class, and have the option of taking the non-RN version of the online exam and are issued a nursing continuing professional development certificate but do not receive a verification card for provider status.
Course Flow
  1. Complete the online pre-course modules
  2. Attend the classroom portion of the class that includes the skill station evaluation
  3. Complete and pass the online test
Pre-class Modules
  • Completion of the pre-course modules prior to the classroom portion is required. Completion of the pre-course modules can take several hours so students are encouraged to have it completed no less than 3 days prior to the class in case there are any technical issues. Access to the pre-course modules is initiated from the email you receive from courseops@ena.org.
TNCC Provider Manual
  • All students are required to have their own copy of the TNCC Provider Manual Edition. This will be available for purchase during the registration process. It is not included as part of the registration fee. 
 
An ENA TNCC four-year provider verification card will be issued to those registered nurses who achieve 80% or higher on the multiple-choice exam and 70% or higher on the skill station evaluation.
 
To register you for the preclass modules within ENA we have to have the email associated to your ENA account. Please register for the class using the email associated with your ENA account. If the email associated to your ENA account is an old email, please update your ENA account to match the email you registered for the class with.

Registrations for discounted Employer\Groups is verified with the Employer\Group.
If you select an Employer\Group for which you are not authorized for or the invoice is denied by the organization, you are responsible for the class fees.

Please choose from the following items. Students are required to have a student manual during class. Unless shipping is selected items are available for pickup at the EdCor Lakewood office or at the start of class. For items to be shipped you must register for the class at least 7 business days prior to the class. Items are shipped via USPS.

 

Corporate\Direct Bill Students

  • If you are affiliated with a Employer or Group that has a contracted rate or allows for direct billing.
  • Select the appropriate selection within the Registration Type.
  • This will display the contracted price or the deposit amount based upon selected Employer\Group. If the Employer\Group allows for direct billing, your payment\deposit will be refunded to you when you show up to the class and the Employer\Group will be invoiced.
  • If the invoice is denied or rejected by the Employer\Group you are responsible for payment and all materials
  • If you select an Employer\Group for which you are not authorized for, you are responsbile for payement for the class and all materials.

Class Materials (manuals, online key codes)

  • Class materials if needed can be purchased while registering for the class.
  • You can bring an existing manual to class if have one or your facility has them available.
  • If you do not purchase the required materials or have them available at class and pick them at class or have them sent to you at the class, if you have a card on file the charges will be charged to the card on file. If you do not have a card on file you will be sent an invoice, we are not able to issue certifications when there is an outstanding balance.

 If your schedule changes please contact EdCor as early as possible to avoid any fees and to allow the slot in the class to be opened to another student.
