Trauma Care After Resusitation Class

TCAR provides training specific to the scope of practice of nurses caring for patients in Emergency, Periop, Critical Care, Acute Care and Rehab settings.

 

Resucitation-based courses focus on prehospital, and ED Care in the initial 3 minutes, 30 minutes and 3 hours after injury....but then what? TCAR was specifically designed to address the learning needs of nurses and other clinicians who care for trauma patients in emergency, perioperative, critical care, acute care and rehab settings BEYOND the resuscitative phase.

 

Whether you work with injured patiens exclusivly or on an occasional basis, TCAR will help you anticipate injuries, recognize patient deterioration, prevent complications, identify assessment strategies, initiate interventions, and evaluate outcomes in the hospitalized patient.

 

This is a self-paced online class. You will receive an email from [email protected] with an online access code. You have access to the online course for one year.

Corporate and Direct Bill Students

  • If you are affiliated with a Employer or Group that has a contracted rate or allows for direct billing.
  • Select the appropriate selection within the Registration Type.
  • This will display the contracted price or the deposit amount based upon selected Employer or Group. If the Employer or Group allows for direct billing, your payment, deposit will be refunded to you when you show up to the class and the Employer or Group will be invoiced.
  • The refunded deposit will be minus $5.00 to cover credit card and processing fees.
  • If the invoice is denied or rejected by the Employer or Group you are responsible for payment and all materials
  • If you select an Employer or Group for which you are not authorized for, you are responsbile for payement for the class and all materials.

Class Materials (manuals, online key codes)

  • Class materials if needed can be purchased while registering for the class.
  • You can bring an existing manual to class if have one or your facility has them available.
  • If you do not purchase the required materials or have them available at class and get them from EdCor at class, if you have a card on file the charges will be charged to the card on file. If you do not have a card on file you will be sent an invoice, we are not able to issue certifications when there is an outstanding balance.

If your schedule changes please contact EdCor as early as possible to avoid any fees and to allow the slot in the class to be opened to another student.
